HOW THERMAL IMAGING DETECTION WORKS
> Thermal imaging is based upon the science of infrared energy, which is emitted from all objects. Referred to as “heat signature” radiation emitted tends to be proportional to the overall heat of the object.
Thermal cameras or thermal imagers are sophisticated devices comprised of sensitive heat sensors that pick up minute differences in temperature. The Heat signature gathered from objects in a particular environment is mapped out as an image based on the differences and inflections of the temperature measured.
